Stop the Violence Program
Stop the Violence Program is a nonprofit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. The purpose of Stop the Violence Program is to decrease incidents of physical violence among youth in the Fairmont, NC community and surrounding areas.
Education about substance abuse, gang culture, and gun violence will be provided to youth in various formats, not limited to, in school programming and lectures, mentorship programs, group sessions, and larger community events. Social media channels and the corporation’s website will provide facts, statistics, and other elated data on causes, current efforts and solutions to eradicating violence among youth in the Fairmont community.

The mission of the Stop the Violence Program is to work towards alleviating community violence through community awareness and support, all while working as a liaison between the community and law enforcement, as we all work together to stop the violence and service the needs of the community, particularly our youth.
