Donations, particularly monetary contributions are extremely appreciated but more sorely needed to aid our organization in helping the community, particularly in efforts to eradicate community violence. Each of our nine initiatives are geared toward providing either services or resources to victims and families of victims of community violence, particularly our children. Through each initiative with the exception of the annual STVP Program and the STVP Prayer Walk we seek to raise funds that go toward the person or people being sponsored specifically for that project with any remaining funds going toward the Youth Education Scholarship Fund.
Therefore, any charitable donations will be used to support STVP's initiatives, projects, and efforts. And most important, all additional funds are used to award at least two deserving students a scholarship to attend the institution of their choice if criteria set forth by membership is met. Funds are also be used to support building recreational centers and activities for Fairmont youth.
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other nonprofit organizations which fall under the 501(c)(3) section of the Internal Revenue Code and are operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.
